You can figure out what people are buying by visiting marketplaces such as Amazon.com, ClickBank.com, JVZoo.com and Udemy.com. Enter your niche keywords, and then pay attention to the bestsellers – those topics are the ones you should be writing about too.

  1. Pick a Monetization Method

You’re not blogging just for the fun of it, right? Of course not. And that’s why you need to figure out how you’re going to extract some cash out of your blog.

There are several monetization methods you can use. However, generally speaking, you’ll find that the most profitable method is to sell your own offers. For example, you might start creating courses or other infoproducts, you might sell high-ticket coaching… or you might sell both of those things since they naturally complement one another.

  • Does your title showcase from one to three of your blog post’s biggest benefits?
  • Where appropriate, does the title raise a little curiosity?
  • Is the title 100% relevant to the blog content?
  • Is the title specific and credible?
  • Does the title evoke social proof when possible?
  • Does the title use attention-getting words (such as “you”)?
  • Would the title capture your prospect’s attention if they saw it in a busy newsfeed? (Note: in order to answer this, you need to profile your target market so that you know what they value, what matters to them and what they want.)
  • Can you edit the title to make it even more compelling? Tip: using a thesaurus will help you choose the most powerful, attention-getting or even unexpected words for your particular title.
