For those of you not familiar with what manifesting is, here is a definition: As an adjective or verb, it means “something that is clearly revealed to the mind of the senses or judgment.” The word manifest comes from the Latin word manifestus which means “caught in the act”.
Over the course of these lessons, we will cover:

- Not getting into the right feelings
- Not knowing what you want

Not manifesting comes down to eight basic reasons:
- You really don’t want it
- You haven’t explored your dark side
- Your self-sabotaging yourself
- You don’t feel worthy
- You’re not being clear
- You’re avoiding something
- You’re asking for the impossible
- The timing isn’t right
If each of these is not clear, don’t worry as we will discuss each one in detail in the coming lessons. One thing about manifesting that many people have false assumptions about is that it automatically just happens. And while the law of attraction is always at work to capitalize and maximize its effect on your life, you must work at manifestation. How? That information is also in the upcoming lessons.

Define your goals and what you are trying to manifest. This will really help you to see things with more clarity and have a bright and clear vision for your future.
Be ready to change
You might start off with one goal in mind, but this could change over time. You may develop completely new goals, or you may have some extra goals you want to accomplish. Your original goal may change slightly, or it might change radically. Depending on the size of your goal and the time it takes to reach it, you may find that by the time you get to the end of your journey, a lot of things have changed. This isn’t a bad thing – it’s something you should be aware of and look out for. You should be ready and flexible enough to adapt your goals. For example, you might get a new job and decide your career path needs to change. Just because you’ve set one goal doesn’t mean you can’t alter it.
Write it down
The best way to keep track of your thoughts, feelings, ambitions and progress is to write it down. You might not realize how much progress you’re making on a day to day basis, but when you look back after a month, you could be quite surprised.
Get a notebook or an app which is dedicated to recorded things related to your goals and the manifestation of them. Write down what has worked for you and what hasn’t, and note any progress no matter how small or insignificant it may seem at the time. This will help you to think through what you’re manifesting, and will provide further clarity.

College or Career

Keep in mind that it’s natural for college and career goals to change as you get older and as you learn more about yourself.
Retirement and Emergency Savings
The idea of saving for retirement in your 20s may sound crazy, but it is the best thing you can do. Starting now will only allow you to have more because you are giving it more time to grow. Before you plan on having kids (or even if you decide not to have kids), it’s always helpful to set life goals related to health – including your mental health. Living a sedentary lifestyle can shorten your lifespan almost as much as smoking cigarettes can. Use your 20s to be the healthiest you can be to live the longest possible. The habits you form now will pay off in amazing ways later.
One tactic to ensure you are healthy is to make it simple. Move more than you sit and eat more plants than anything else. Also, stay hydrated and get check-ups and dental cleanings regularly even when you feel fine.
