Sample Content for the How to Content Planning PLR Ebook:

Congratulations! You have a blog or website, and have joined the millions of entrepreneurs and online marketers who are eager to turn a passion or interest into a reliable income stream. You understand the global power of the World Wide Web to turn a single blog post or webpage into a list-building, sales-generating, passive income machine.

There’s only one problem.

You don’t have a clearly defined strategy for content creation and delivery.

You know you need a plan, something that can guide your content marketing efforts, but you don’t know where to get started. What you need is a proven system, a clearly defined and easy to follow blogging strategy that takes into account several key factors.

  • You need to know exactly who you’re addressing before you start creating content.
  • You should have a handy list of keywords and phrases related to the niche or micro-niche you are serving.
  • A real understanding of the big problems and questions that keep your audience awake at night is a crucial part of any successful content strategy.
  • Additionally, you need to be crystal clear on why you are creating content, understanding that everything you create should have a clear and defined purpose for your business.
  • You need a content calendar or editorial calendar that works for you, not some hazy, vague idea of when you should be doing what.
  • After you have compiled all the above information, you need to actually create your content, or arrange to have it created for you.
  • Finally, a smart blogger or web entrepreneur understands that monitoring results and tweaking your content strategy accordingly is crucial to both short-term and long-term success online.

This content strategy guide was created to help you effectively do all the things just discussed. The first step to organizing the content side of your business into an easy to implement and successful plan is convincing yourself you need a plan in the first place. There are definite benefits to being organized and focused with your content, so let’s take a look at those advantages now.

Note: The above content is just a snippet of the ebook.

Deciding How Often to Post

Welcome the Blog Post Idea Series! In this first email, we discuss how to decide when you should post to your blog. Several times per day? Once a day? Once a week? Whenever you have something to post?

Once a month used to be the standard, but those days are long gone, if you want to build a solid readership following. There are just too many bloggers posting on this same schedule and one way to get ahead of the pack is to post more often.

In part, deciding when to post has a lot to do with the type of blog you have. If it is more of a social-type blog, you should post at least daily, and probably closer to several times per day. Each time can either be scheduled so they will be sent at specific time intervals during the day or you can post in real-time during the course of the day whenever “breaking news” in your niche happens.

If you are new to blogging, once a week is a good place to start, so you don’t get overwhelmed right away. Your readers will come to expect hearing from you once a week on a set day (and even a set time if you want) and for you, it doesn’t become too much of a burden to come up with blog content. The problem emerging with weekly posting is that many other bloggers are now doing the same. Because of this, it is easy for your posts to get lost in the mix. This is where quality trumps over quantity every time. It doesn’t take long for the chafe to sift out from the wheat and your blog posts rise to the top if you are writing quality posts.

As you get your feet more wet in the world of blogging, and if you have a wide enough niche to provide you with enough ideas, you may want to increase your post frequency to twice a week. If you have a narrow niche, then you may want to stick with weekly posting; just make what you do dynamic!

4 Tips for Brainstorming Blog Post Ideas

If you’re running a blog, coming up with fresh ideas month after month isn’t always easy. When you first start out, you may have hundreds of ideas that you can get to work on, but these will eventually run out and you’ll have to think of more. Constantly having a bank of ideas is great for your blogging productivity, so you’re never left wondering what to write. Here are a few tips to get you going…

1. Ask other people
Ask your friends, your family, or your current blog subscribers. You can get talking to anybody about the blog you’re running and see what they have to say. Or just see what comes up in conversation when you talk about your niche topic. Even if you don’t use their exact ideas, it’s a good way to pick up some new thoughts and concepts.

2. Create a big list
Sit down and create a huge list of everything you can possibly think of that relates to your blog. If you’re running a blog on furniture, you can write about decorating many different venues, such as wedding halls and churches, family homes and retirement homes, businesses and offices, shops and stores and everything in between. You can write about furnishing a place for the first time or buying new items. Give your readers ideas about how to do things, when to do things and what they can buy to do certain things. And don’t forget to start with the very basics, too. Even things that sound simple to you might be useful for readers who are complete beginners to your niche.

3. Read other blogs
You should never copy content from other blogs, but it’s a great way to get some more ideas. General ideas cannot be copyrighted, so unless you’re taking something word for word or using somebody else’s photographs, you don’t need to give anybody credit. You might not only get ideas about what to write about, but you could pick up some tips about how to structure your posts, how to make them more friendly or how to design the page to make it easier to read.

4. Use books and magazines
Books and magazines are great sources of blog post ideas. As with the previous tip, make sure you don’t copy anything – simply use the books and magazines as inspiration. Sometimes all it takes is scanning a table of content to get the juices flowing. Magazines are also great for figuring out what’s popular right now in your niche.

How to Write When You’re Not a Writer

As a business owner you’re called on to manage a variety of tasks. Due to the importance of content, one of those tasks is writing. You have content to create. This can be a scary and potentially overwhelming concept. Many people fear writing or put it off because they don’t consider themselves to be writers.

Good news! You don’t have to be a “writer” to write good content for your website. There’s a difference between content published in newspapers and some magazines and content published on most websites. The content on your website doesn’t need to appeal to a broad audience. It also doesn’t need to be on a broad topic. Quite the opposite, actually. Your content will be quite specific.

For example, it could be “Ten tips to bake better chocolate chip cookies.” It provides value to a very specific target audience. And if you have a website about chocolate chip cookies or baking, then you can write this article without thinking much about it. You know it. The information is already inside of you.

Web content is also more conversational. Content is written to feel personal – as if you’re speaking to your audience. You’ll use words like:

* You
* Your
* You’ll
* You’re
* And sometimes if you’re writing a blog post you’ll use “I”, “Me” and “We”

These are not words you’ll find in any piece of journalism unless they’re in quotes. Newspapers and magazines are generally more formal. They use third person perspective.

Additionally, web content is formatted for easy reading. You’ll use bullet points, numbers and headings and subheadings to break up your content into bite-sized pieces. So what does all this mean if you’re not a “writer”?

It means that writing content for your website is pretty straightforward. You:

* Write what you know and what your audience will benefit from
* Write conversationally
* Write so it’s easy to read online

The simplest method to use when you’re writing your online content is to spend a few minutes creating the structure for your article. Write a rough headline and subheadings. Then fill in the content. Write it as if you’re writing a letter to a friend. Don’t worry about grammar and spelling on the first draft. You can go back and edit for clarity later.

Once you have your thoughts down on paper, polish. Add your keywords in to optimize for the search engines and publish it. Test and track your articles and content to evaluate what content your readers respond to. With a little confidence and a plan, you can write content to build and grow your business.

Niche Research For Profitable Marketing PLR Report

Niche Research For Profitable Marketing Report Sample:

Since the purpose of business is to satisfy existing desires, or stimulate new ones, if everyone were genuinely happy, there would be no need for business any longer.

Niche Marketing 101

One reason that many online businesses struggle is that they try to market to everybody, and end up selling to nobody.  The key to successful internet marketing is to identify a niche market to sell your product or service to.

A niche market is a number of individuals or businesses that share similar interests, passions or business needs.  The wants and needs of this group are easily identifiable and can be targeted with specific marketing.

Why you must find a niche.

There are so many businesses trying to make a profit on the internet that you may wonder how on earth you are going to compete.  Well the answer is that you probably can’t compete with the large websites that cater to a general audience, but you may have more success if you target a small niche market and try to dominate there.

There will always be niche markets to fill.  Even as the competition increases, so does the demand as more and more people are using the internet to look for information, products and communities relating to their business, hobbies and passions.

Even if you choose a niche that already has a fair amount of competition, finding a new take on the subject, or offering a slightly different angle than your competitors can allow you to dominate that niche.

In this report you will discover:

  • A no fail process for generating niche ideas
  • Step 1 – Look inside yourself for inspiration
  • Step 2 – Expanding your ideas – Including looking for potential sub niches
  • Step 3 – Research your ideas – Have fun with statistics and measuring supply and demand within your niche
  • Step 4 – Defining products for your niche
  • Professional tips for choosing your niche

Finding the perfect niche

Sitting and staring at your computer screen trying to come up with a brilliant idea for a successful niche is unlikely to bring you results.  However, there are lots of methods you can use to generate ideas for your niche subject and luckily most of them are pretty straight forward.

The step-by-step approach outlined below is the method many find very effective.

Step 1 – Look inside for ideas

What do you love to do?

What could you focus on every day for hours a day?

Starting an online business about something you enjoy, or are interested in is going to be much easier than focusing on a topic you find dull or boring.  You will be spending a great deal of time working on this subject.  You will find yourself writing about it, researching it, answering questions on it, and networking with people that are passionate about it.

Choosing a topic that you love is only going to make life easier and more enjoyable, and will increase your chances of success by making your writing convincing.

Selecting a subject that you have a certain degree of knowledge about is also a good idea.  You don’t need to be an expert; the amount of research you will have to do will soon make you one anyway, but having a basic understanding of your niche, including common jargon and terminology is a good idea.

Knowing a little bit about your niche will reduce the amount of work you have to do upfront and will enable you to start producing some content, articles etc. while you are learning more.  Having some prior knowledge of your subject will also help you to determine whether there is enough potential in your niche for you to base a whole business around it.

Do you have any specialist skills that you could build a niche around?  If you can make use of specialist skills you have a better chance of making your website unique and developing a new angle that will enable you to dominate your niche market.

Some people choose a niche that they are interested in and wish to learn more about, but do not already have any knowledge about.  This can be a good method if you don’t mind doing a lot of research upfront.

Perhaps you have always found the subject of child development fascinating but have never really had the time or opportunity to read and learn about it.  Now could be that opportunity.  Starting an online business about a specific subject allows you to immerse yourself completely in it and meet other people that are knowledgeable in that area.

Basing your business around something you would like to learn about is a great way to keep your enthusiasm fresh and to motivate you to read and research.  Sometimes if you choose a niche that you are already an expert in, you can find the subject becomes stale very quickly.
