Introduction

What is your relationship with money? Does the mere thought of sitting down at the end of the month to balance your budget and checkbook cause you a lot of anxiety? Maybe you feel like you will have to work until the day you die because you live a paycheck to paycheck existence.

You may suffer from a poverty mindset.

This is a situation where people just can’t seem to hold onto money. Even if they find themselves in a financially secure and prosperous situation, they spend more than they have. These people often blame others for their reality.

They see their poor money management as a byproduct of other people’s decisions or actions. This creates a subconscious excuse or reason for never being able to sustain a financially secure reality. A person with a poverty mindset tells himself that it doesn’t matter what he does, no matter how hard he tries, the world is out to get him financially.

When you think this way, you are subconsciously programming yourself for financial failure instead of success.

Fortunately, people can change.

You probably know at least one person that has made some incredible change in his or her life. In many cases, that person’s friends and family members were surprised by the positive change that took place. This is actually pretty common. People kick alcohol and smoking and gambling addictions all the time by doing one very simple thing…

… they change their mind.

Email #1 – Welcome to Money Mindset

Hello and welcome to our ecourse on Money Mindset. This is an interesting topic and some of the things noted in this series may be an eye-opener for you and make you think twice about your own money mindset. Hang on, it could be a rough ride! Over the course of the next 4 lessons, we will cover:

  • Having a poor money mindset might not be your fault
  • Keeping up with the Joneses syndrome
  • Goal setting and the rich money mindset
  • Income limiting

Of course, before we can start talking about if you have a poor money mindset or not, we must first define it, so everyone is on the same sheet of music. In a nutshell, having a poor money mindset means you have an unhealthy relationship with money.

For example, a person with a rich mindset has a goal to increase their monetary resources, so they can use it to further advance themselves, or their business, or pass it onto the next generation, etc. A person with a poor money mindset however sees a surplus of money as an opportunity to buy things that don’t help improve themselves or others, their business, or to  provide for the next generation. Which one is your money mindset?

If you notice, both types of mindsets see the surplus as an opportunity, however, it is the manner in which they use that surplus is what sets them apart.

People with a rich money mindset value the process or the challenge to get where they are today. The money to them is secondary, but they earned every penny they have. People with a poor money mindset want the money, but don’t want to do the work to get it. To them, the money is the reward and not the process to get it.

Case in point. The lottery is big in America and you see people with a poor money mindset buying lottery tickets all the time, hoping to hit it big – easy money if you will. While some do, this is just one example of many of people trying to get rich without the work.

Do people with a rich money mindset buy lottery tickets? Not very often, if at all. Why? There is no challenge in doing so as the reason if they win or not is not within their control.

That wraps it up for this first lesson. In the next lesson, we will talk about why you may have a poor money mindset. It most likely is not why you think. You are going to want to read that one!

5 Tips for Manifesting More Money

If you want to start manifesting more money, there are things you can do to help with this. Some people are naturally better at manifesting money and manages their finances, while others need to put in a little extra effort. Here are some tips for manifesting more money.

  1. Manage your money well

When you manage your money well, you generally end up with more of it. Managing your finances starts with good budgeting, being conscious of the risk of overspending, and making decisions on whether or not to buy something. In order to help manage your money well, you can download apps or tools which help you to input your expenditure and income. With apps, you can turn on notifications so that you never forget the need to track and budget your spending.

  1. Give your money space

Putting your money somewhere sensible and giving it the space it needs can help you to manifest more money. Start by opening a bank account which offers the benefits you want and gives you a decent rate of interest. Buy yourself a nice wallet and ensure you have enough space for any cash that you carry around with you.

  1. Make good financial decisions

When it comes to getting a mortgage, taking out a loan, buying a new car or taking a new job, there are always financial implications to consider. A new job could mean extra money if you’re getting a promotion, but if you’re choosing something enjoyable over a high salary, this will have a different impact. By taking the time to consider the different factors with jobs, financial products and services, you will be well on your way to manifesting more money.

  1. Talk to rich people

Ask people how they got to have the money they have, and what they found were the challenges. They are likely to have some extra tips that they won’t mind sharing with you. You can also use online resources and websites to find the testimonials and autobiographies of those who went from rags to riches, or even those who went from riches to…more riches!

  1. Respect money

Respecting your money includes not wasting it and using it to make the right decisions. Money can be a problem, but money also has incredible benefits and can make or break people’s lives. Acknowledge its importance, and treat it like your friend.

Money and Relationships PLR Article Sample:

Credit Card Debt & Your Relationship

When you consider credit card debt and its effect on a marriage, which is especially worse when only one person in the relationship has created credit card debt, it’s important to understand how this affects both of your futures truly. Even if you’re equally responsible, credit card debt can be very stressful on marriage and all relationships.

First, you need to understand the situation. Look at it realistically and determine what you’re going to do from now and into the future. If you and your spouse have a serious goal, you can make it through this.

  • Add Up All Consumer Debt – Before you can tackle credit card debt, you have to be realistic about it. Start with adding it all up and getting it in a spreadsheet so that you can really and truly know what you’re doing with.
  • Consider Legal Responsibility – Even if you’re equally responsible for creating the debt each state has their own rules about who is responsible if one of you should die or if you get a divorce. This is an important consideration moving forward. No one wants to leave their family crippled with debt.
  • Keep Communicating – It can be hard, especially if one party feels guiltier (or angry) than the other party in the relationship, but if you want to get through this it’s important that you keep commutating about it in a non-accusatory manner.
  • Seek Counseling – One way to ensure that you come through this whole is to find someone who specializes in consumer debt and marriage counseling to work with. This may be a counselor, but it may also be a relationship and money coach as well. Either way, you both need to be on board to work together on this.
  • Be Realistic – Dealing with credit card debt is not going to be fixed overnight. The best way to go about it is to work toward paying it down each month and not using the credit cards. You’re better off paying them off than saving money because of the high interest. People who work toward paying them down each month tend to avoid making the same mistake again, as opposed to people who get a loan to pay them off.
  • Think About the Future – Credit is something that can make or break your future. Is that $2000 bed worth it even if there is no interest for the first 12 months? You must be realistic about what your budget can afford regarding If you can’t pay off the debt in six months to a year, it’s probably too much.

The best way to deal with credit card debt is not to take it on without serious thought about how it affects your budget. Make a rule when you buy something on credit that you must pay it off by a certain time to avoid high-interest charges. Try not to use more than 20 to 30 percent of your available credit at a time.

Money Management for Millennials PLR Report Sample Content:

When it comes to learning about money management, millennials are forging their own way for good reasons – the main one being that things are totally different now than they used to be. The fact is, millennials face completely different financial issues than the generations before them.

Millennials are defined as the individuals born between 1981 and 1997, and are also known as Generation Y. This generation is the largest generation. They are very diverse, as only about 40 percent of them identify as non-Hispanic whites. They are more likely to get married later in life, and they like to live in metropolitan areas rather than in rural areas. Additionally, they’re not as drawn to materialistic trappings as their older counterparts. However, that may be due to the money challenges that they face.

Money Challenges Millennials Face

Gen Y faces hard realities when it comes to student debt, low wages, high rents, and the high cost of health insurance and health care today. Thankfully, even with these challenges, millennials overall like managing their personal finances and are confident about their ability to do so, even with the frustrations mentioned.

Statistically, millennials are saving more for retirement than past generations. They have learned from watching their parents burn through their own retirement savings during the Great Recession. In fact, according to the TransAmerica Center for Retirement Studies, 70 percent of millennials started saving for retirement around the age of 22.
